Thirty-two Setia Protective Security Services (SPSS) recruits underwent fire safety training conducted by the Fire and Rescue Department’s (FRD) ‘F’ Operation Branch Public Relations
The training included a briefing, a building evacuation drill and instructions on operating fire extinguishers. The training aimed at improving fire safety awareness and operational procedure in the event of a fire.
Fire and Building Evacuation Drills are conducted at least twice a year to ensure public safety.
FRD provides safety programmes such as Fire Marshal Course, Life Saver 995 and Fire Safety Briefing to know the aspects of safety when dealing with emergencies as well as the correct procedures in the use of fire extinguishers.
