Scouts leave for Johor gathering

FOUR Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) members left for Johor, Malaysia on Friday to attend the Johor International Girl Scouts Gathering from March 9-11 at Savannah Hill Resort and Hotel in Johor.

The local delegation comprised two female leaders and two rover scouts.

A flag handing over ceremony was held prior to their departure at the Brunei International Airport.

PPNBD Chief Commissioner Haji Badar bin Haji Ali presented the national flag to Headquarters Commissioner for Women Scouts Section and Rover Scouts Section and head of the delegation Hajah Norahmat binti Haji Saidin.

PPNBD Deputy Chief Commissioner Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, Public Relations Commission Muhammad Syahmi bin Halimshah, PPNBD Assistant Property Manager Haji Razak bin Haji Sigai and Rover Scouts members were also present.

The Johor gathering, hosted by the Malaysia Scouts Association (Johor), aims to establish solidarity among scouts.
