Science bootcamp fosters leadership, competency

A bootcamp to sharpen scientific competency, held by Seria Energy Lab (SEL) as part of their Women in Science competition, concluded recently.

SEL had previously selected 60 female students, based on submitted project proposals for the competition and engaged them in a three-day bootcamp which offered contact with professionals, workshops and talks aimed at improving both their leadership capacity and their competency in scientific knowledge and skills.

The boot camp also aimed to further polish on their initial science project proposals submitted. The bootcamp concluded on Wednesday with a Race to Solutions, an activity that had 10 challenges to test the students on digital literacy, innovation and critical thinking.
