THE Raja Isteri Girls High School (STPRI) recently presented a donation to one of its Year 11 S1 students, Siti Nadya Adilah binti Mohammad Aera Wadi, who lost her family home in Kampong Tamoi Ujong, when it collapsed into the river last December.
The funds came from the teachers, students and staff members of STPRI, at the initiative of its Student Affairs Section.
The school also presented a donation to the family of Ahmad Badawie bin Ahmad Aziz, a Year 11B student at the Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Secondary School, who tragically drowned during a trip to the Meragang Beach, on January 6.
The donations were handed over by Tutty Hyrneeita binti Abdul Latip, the Principal of STPRI.
The handover was witnessed by Haji Ismail bin Haji Brahim, the Deputy Principal (Administration); Norjalina binti Jaafar, the Deputy Principal (Academic); Md Shukri bin Haji Marzuki, the Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association; and Senior Education Officers Md Shahrani bin Haji Mataha and Dayangku Hajah Jailton binti Pengiran Haji Damit.
