Sayyidina Ali Secondary School (SMSA) celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha with students and their parents and guardians with a Korban ceremony at the school premises recently.
The ceremony hoped to foster closer ties between the school, parents and guardians and aid less fortunate staff members, orphans and underprivileged students.
Four cows were sacrificed. The Korban meat was distributed among 91 students and 86 members of staff, as well as parents and guardians.
The school also donated basic necessities to the less fortunate, alongside the Korban meat. To adhere to health protocols, the Korban meat was distributed via booths outside the school hall.
