School launches programme to over come education challenges

The Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School yesterday launched a ‘Ma’radh ‘Ilmi; Kharithah Dzihniyyah’ to support the goal of Brunei Vision 2035 to produce educated, highly skilled and successful citizens.

The event is an initiative to combat the challenges of blended learning, a mix of face-to-face and online instructions.

Activities featured at the event aimed to help students become more skilled and creative in preparing notes and lesson summaries. The event was one of the ‘Ilal Majdi Wal ‘Ula’ programmes organised by the Arabic School Division of the Department of Islamic Studies to support the Ministry of Religious Affairs Strategic Plan 2020-2024 initiative.

Thirty Sanah 5 and 6 students from Arabic schools around the nation participated in the event.

Acting Director of Islamic Studies Department Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil was the guest of honour. – Azlan Othman
