THE Seri Begawan Archery Club (SBAC) recently held a display of bow equipment and archery skills to mark the launching of a new hall at the Youth Centre in the capital.

The guest of honour was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin.

As an advocate for the sport of archery in Brunei Darurssalam, especially in the category of Modern Archery, Haji Razali said those keen on becoming involved should abide by the club’s safety guidelines and rules.

Over the last two years, the SBAC has been invited to compete in Istanbul, while also winning various competitions in Singapore, West Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

The club’s main objective is to produce local youths who can compete at national and international levels.
