Savouring Malaysia’s flavours

As part of the Malaysian Food Festival 2022 at Anjung Saujana Restaurant, Royal Brunei Culinary (RBC) in collaboration with the Malaysian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam and Tourism Malaysia Brunei hosted a cooking demonstration. The organisers flew in popular freelance chef from Malaysia Chef Mohammad bin Arshad, better known as Chef Matt, to conduct the cooking demo.

Malaysian Deputy High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nur Ezira Mahadi was the guest of honour. Tourism Malaysia Brunei Deputy Director Hajah Latifah binti Dato Haji Ismail also attended.

Chef Matt demonstrated signature Malaysian dishes including Nasi Biru, Ikan Rebus (untuk Sambal Kelapa and Solok Lada) and Tumis Nasi Kerabu.

The Malaysian Food Festival 2022, which is part of the Brunei December Festival 2022, was launched by Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin on Thursday.
