Salute to new constables

One hundred and forty-one constables of the male squad 1/2021 batch were yesterday called to maintain standards of discipline, integrity and principles, following the completion of 12 months of training.

Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Ajman bin Haji Meludin made the call at a passing out parade at the Police Training Centre in Gadong, organised by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

Also present during the ceremony was Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali.

Ajman congratulated the new constables for completing their training while facing challenges presented by the pandemic.

He applauded the Training Centre’s implementation of online sessions and physical sessions as a prime example of being adaptable, and touched on the importance of adaptability in reducing crimes in the modern era.

He also presented the certificate and award for the Best Recruit in Academics and Extracurricular Activities Constable Squad 1/2021 to Recruit 6972 Zulfadhli.

Zulfadhli said the knowledge and skills he gained as well as the challenges he faced during training will allow him to be more be more effective in upholding his responsibilities.

The recipient expressed gratitude to Allah the Almighty, and thanked his family, officers and trainers for their support.
