SAB welcomes new Year 5 students

The Belait Arabic School (SAB) opened their annual three-day registration and orientation ceremony titled ‘Program Minggu Ta’aruf’ at the school’s surau yesterday.

Thirty-five students along with their parents and guardians attended the event.

Principal Hajah Noramalina binti Haji Mohd Ali congratulated the newly inducted students on their previous academic achievements, and expressed hope that their time at the school will be fruitful as they continue to learn and grow.

Hajah Noramalina also emphasised the importance of support from the parents and guardians in her speech.

Other activities, include briefings by the administration and academic staff, detailing the discipline, daily schedule and hygiene the students must adhere to.

The students took an oath, a school tradition, followed by a short tour of the school with the parents and guardians before settling in their classes.

Several classes were introduced including Introduction to Arabic Language.

The event will continue tomorrow with a sharing session with the senior students, growth mindset courses and solat clinic.
