The Russian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam hosted a reception to mark Russian Diplomat’s Day at its premises in Madang yesterday.
In his welcoming remarks Charge d’Affaires (ad interim) at the Russian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Andrey Mamaev highlighted major milestones in the history of Russian diplomacy and underlined the achievements of the Russian diplomacy in modern times.
He also shared that on the occasion of the holiday the Russian president and the foreign minister have sent their greetings to the Foreign Ministry and all Russian diplomatic missions abroad.
The Russian Diplomat’s Day is a holiday to commemorate Russian diplomatic service established in 2002 by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and is celebrated every February 10 by Russian diplomats around the world.
