Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah left an inspiring message on a Tree of Life for children diagnosed with cancer.

The message reads: “Once you have hope, anything is possible.” The message was written during an event organised by the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) to mark International Childhood Cancer Day.

The Tree of Life is located at the lobby of Women and Children Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

This year’s International Childhood Cancer Day is themed ‘Better Survival’. The global campaign aims to raise awareness on childhood cancer being curable and that survival can be achieved through 10 elements – responsive government policy; timely and accurate diagnosis; effective treatment; multidisciplinary care; palliative and supportive care; family support; qualified workforce; available and affordable essential medicines; cancer registry; and rehabilitation and reintegration.
