Thirty-three Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Rover Scout Crew 1102 attended a leadership identity course at the Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam (OBBD), Batang Duri Camp in Temburong District.
The three-day-two-night activity was aimed at building self-resilience characters and mental alertness of scouts members in facing out-of-the-norm challenges.
Group discussion and presentation, water confidence, flying fox, basic compass and map reading, jungle trekking from the camp to Ulu Belalong and kayaking were among the features of the course.
The rover scouts also joined community work at the Kampong Sibut Religious Hall to commemorate the Day of Action (DOA).
An introduction session was carried out before official appointment of the rover scouts.
