The Rotary Club of Belait (RCB) hosted its annual walkathon yesterday at Anduki Recreational Park to mark World Polio Day observed every year on October 24.
Thirty participants comprising members from RCB, Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (RCBSB), and Rotary Club of Miri (RC Miri) participated. They included Assistant Governor for 2023-2024 Henry Ting, as well as President of RCBSB, past president (PP) Jimmy Chung, who is also the End Polio Brunei’s regional chair, and RC Miri’s PP Jenny Liew.
Henry highlighted the positives of the Rotary Club members in raising awareness on initiatives to end polio. – Daniel Lim
