Rolling up sleeves for N-Day blood donation campaign

The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) collaborated with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital to hold a blood donation campaign at the Tutong Youth Centre from 9am to noon yesterday which saw the participation of 65 out of 75 registered donors.

Donors consisted of officers and staff at the MPRT, the private sector and Tutong residents, who joined to mark 38th National Day celebration with the aim to increase the blood stock at the RIPAS Hospital Blood

Donation Centre, to answer the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) call to employ the whole of-nation approach in helping those in need.

It was also a joint effort in involving the participation of staff and stakeholders under the MPRT.

Meanwhile, only those with green BruHealth codes who are fully vaccinated were allowed to donate blood at the campaign.
