The ‘Menghalusi Solat Mazhab Syafi’e’ roadshow for officers and teachers at the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) continued yesterday at Auditorium 1 of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMP RIPAHS).
Some 1,200 MoRA officers and teachers participated in the four-day roadshow, organised by the Faculty of Syariah of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) in collaboration with the Islamic Studies Department.
Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar spoke on ‘Menghalusi Tertib Solat Mazhab Al-Syafi’e RA’.
He highlighted the main focus on Rukun Fi’li – performing prayers with khusyu’ – to prevent from committing sins or mungkar and gaining blessings from Allah the Almighty. He also discussed ways to perform prayer to attain khusyu’ and Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) sunnah while praying.
The roadshow aims to enhance participants’ understanding on the compulsory practice in performing the five-time daily prayers, refining all the obligations following Mazhab Syafi’e.
