Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah reminded employers and employees to adhere to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all time if they are working from office.

This was in response to a question raised about employers asking their employees to work from office again after a period of working from home (WFH).

The minister reminded the public that COVID-19 transmission in the Sultanate is still high.

“If these employees need to work at an office, they must make sure to practise social distancing and measures outlined by the MoH.

“If measures implemented for Operasi Pulih shows targetted results, we will move on to de-escalation plans. However, right now a high number of cases are still recorded.

“Those who can WFH are advised to continue doing so.”
