I was recently at a supermarket when I had to pass up a good parking spot because the trolley was in the way. What added to the frustration was that the receptacle was only a few metres away.
It wasn’t the first time it had happened, and I’m certain it will happen again and again. I would even go as far as to say it’s a nationwide problem.
In my opinion, some people are just too pampered. When they are out grocery shopping, they expect to receive a long list of privileges, which include having a supermarket employee to fetch their trolleys.
They need to grow up and learn to assume responsibility. Children tend to follow our lead when it comes to general etiquettes. It’s time to be a good role model instead of a bad influence.
