The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised the 64th Da’ie Guidance Talk (halaqah) held in conjunction with the Israk Mikraj celebrations for 1444 Hijrah.
PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour at the talk on ‘Ke Arah Kemantapan Da’ie Yang Berkaliber’ at the Conference Hall, Islamic Preaching Centre. The event saw 100 participants from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Defence, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Brunei Islamic Religious Council and PDI.
KUPU SB Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr Muhammad Zahiri bin Awang Mat facilitated the halaqah.
The talk touched on Al-Quran verses and hadith of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regarding the events of Israk Mikraj, Ibrah and lessons that can be learnt from the Prophet’s journey.
