A poem recitation, tausyeh, nasyid and drama performance were held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) with members of the Islamic Da’wah Centre’s (PDI) Industrial Training graduates as well as Muallaf community at the festive stage in front of the Royal Regalia Museum on Friday.
The religious performances were held to enliven His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebrations.
Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim and PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh were among the attendees.
The event began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a poetry recital delivered by PDI Assistant Director Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar.
A tausyeh by PDI’s Industrial Training graduates, nasyid by members of Kampong Bebuloh Activity Muallaf Centre and a short drama titled ‘Gara-Gara Bunga’ were also held.
