Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Mosque in Kampong Rimba clinched the top spot in a Hijrah Quiz Competition to commemorate the Islamic new year of 1444 Hijrah by beating runner-up Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the final round. Kampong Kupang Mosque settled in third place.
Nine groups, comprising male and female youth, participated in the quiz held at the Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Kelugos, Tutong District.
The competition aimed to foster dedication towards the religion and promoting good values
among youth.
Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, the guest of honour, handed over prizes to the winners.
The event was a collaborative effort of the Mosque Affairs Office, Tutong District and Library Section of the Mosque Affairs Department.
