The SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre yesterday held a religious programme to mark Israk Mikraj 1443 Hijrah celebration, themed ‘Sembahyangku kerana Allah’.
Organised by the centre’s Musala Ar-Raudhah committee, the virtual programme featured a special talk titled ‘Larangan Mengadu Domba dalam Islam’ by Al-Minhaaj Centre Director of Administration and Management Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Isra’ by Mohammad Ayob bin Ali.
The annual celebration aimed to commemorate the major Islamic historical event, while fostering ties among the members.
The centre’s director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar, deputy directors, management, officers and staff of SEAMEO Voctech participated.
