Ministry of Finance and Economy
The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) held an Ilal Hijrah 1445 celebration yesterday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah was the guest of honour.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, acting permanent secretary and deputy permanent secretaries at the MoFE, heads of departments and divisions as well as officers and staff at the ministry were also in attendance.
Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s visiting counsellor Haji Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafor delivered a talk on ‘Esok Mungkin Ada’.
The event, coordinated by the ministry’s Information Technology Division, ended with Doa Tahun Baru Hijrah.
The ceremony is an annual activity of the ministry to glorify the major Islamic event and strengthen ties among officers and staff. – Azlan Othman

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), through the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC), held an Ilal Hijrah 1445 celebration at its multipurpose hall yesterday.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
Religious Development Officer from the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Muskirsman Safari bin Haji Mustafa delivered a talk on ‘Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera’.
Permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries at the MoHA, and head of departments with senior officers of the ministry, members of the Disaster Preparedness Coordinator (DPC) under the NDMC comprising mukim and village consultative councils, the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Federation and youth volunteers were also present. – James Kon
