Mosques, suraus and religious halls in the Brunei-Muara District organised a recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday celebration yesterday.
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Assistant Managing Director for Corporate Services Haji Abdullah @ Dollah bin Haji Ahad, the guest of honour, led the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.
The event at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque saw attendance by Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School teachers and students as well as nearby residents.
A religious talk was delivered by Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque Affairs Officer Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhudin. – Azlan Othman
