SYARIKAT Khadeeja Towards Modesty will collaborate with the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB), Community Development Department (JAPEM), Departments of Mosque Affairs and Haj Management, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Mosque Muslimah groups through the Ibadahku First Class Menuju Ramadhan Programme and engage in several community-based religious activities to spread Dakwah before the fasting month of Ramadhan.
In an interview with the Bulletin yesterday, representative of Khadeeja Saridah binti Haji Budin noted that the line-up of activities tentatively will be carried out end of April with dates to be confirmed later, pending on approval by relevant government agencies.
“We initiated this community-based programme last year but this year it will be carried out on a bigger scale and this announcement is to raise public awareness on this community programme, particularly for women who want to be involved as volunteers especially from the local youth.”
First on the list is the ‘Butik Talk Khadeeja’, in collaboration with MUIB, JAPEM and mosque Muslimah representative where accredited panellists along with the moderator will discuss selected topics relating to women, heading to Ramadhan as a community, live information sharing and interaction session with the official Khadeeja social platforms.
Next is the Eksklusifkan Auratmu roadshow at selected mosques.
Working together with JAPEM, Khadeeja Outreach Programme (KOP), meanwhile, will focus on helping women and children in need.
The programme will also include a Haj and Umrah campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Haj Management Department.
Lastly, the ‘Ibadahku First Class Ramadhan’ festival will provide a space for intending Haj and Umrah pilgrims to get the Haj and Umrah collections and a session of interaction and sharing of knowledge.
