Kemuda Institute Kuala Belait Campus in conjunction with ‘Projek GD Kitar Semula’ collected recyclable material at KB Sentral Residence Parking Area on October 11, 2019.
The activity was organised by Green Depot in collaboration with the Belait District Office and Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation.
Green Depot is an organisation that collects recyclable material from the public. Their motto is small steps towards zero waste. The student council collected the recycled items from October 5-11 2019.
The items that was collected was open to Kemuda Institute student council, students, lecturers and staff. Most of the items comprised paper, steel, aluminum and electronics. The student council and lectures placed all the items at the KB Sentral Residence Parking Area. A photo session was held with volunteers of Green Depot with the lecturers and Kemuda Institute’s Kuala Belait Student Council.
