Director General of Factories and General Labour Laws Inspection Department (FGLLID) of the Ministry of Labour (MOL) of Myanmar Tin Ko Ko invited Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd and Bandtree Sdn Bhd to represent Brunei in the 4th ASEAN-Occupational Safety and Health Network (ASEAN-OSHNET) Awardees from Brunei Darussalam to the 9th ASEAN-OSHNET Conference and 4th ASEAN-OSHNET Awards ceremony.
Myanmar hosted both the conference and ceremony virtually at the Ministry of Labour in Nay Pyi Taw on September 30. Deputy Minister for Labour U Win Shein said this year’s conference theme is ‘Strengthening OSH Inspection Systems for Better Workplace’.
ASEAN Secretary-General Dato Paduka Lim Jock Hoi said ASEAN made significant efforts to promote ASEAN’s economic growth trend and occupational safety and health measures and it will make arrangements to strengthen public-private partnerships and safety commitments.
Tin Ko Ko presented medals and awarded certificates to officials from the winning companies in ASEAN member states.
