The Executive Committee of the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Alumni Association recently held the Jawlah Ramadhan: Food Drive Programme, in an effort to perform charitable acts and seek blessings from Allah the Almighty during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The annual event is an initiative to assist UNISSA’s underprivileged alumni.
The donations were a mix of basic goods and cash collected from the UNISSA alumni and community since March.
The programme also aimed to promote a caring attitude towards the community, particularly among the UNISSA alumni.
Assistant Rector (Student Affairs and Alumni) Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu was in attendance, joined by UNISSA Alumni Affairs Office officers and the executive committee of the UNISSA Alumni Association.
