RBPF, Neighbourhood Watch conduct patrols

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) with the Neighbourhood Watch programme organised several crime prevention patrols recently.

The patrols were carried out in Kampong Belimbing with Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) Central Police Station personnel; in Kampong Jaya Setia / Burung Pingai with the RBPF Berakas. Kampong Lubuk Pulau Tutong Neighbourhood Watch also carried out a crime prevention patrol with the RBPF in Tutong District.

No suspicious activities were found during the patrols.

Engagement programmes between the RBPF and focal points of the Neighbourhood Watch were also carried out. The Focal Point of Berakas Police Station held a dialogue with Acting Village Head of Kampong Pancha Delima/Anggerek Desa, Mukim Berakas ‘A’; Focal Point of Kuala Belait Police Station with Acting Village Head of Kampong Pandan ‘B’ and Pandan ‘C’; and Focal Point of Tutong Police Station with Acting Village Head of Kampong Lubuk Pulau.

The programme is an effort to ensure safer villages and strong cooperation from the community on the issues of peace and security.
