RBPF meets village heads to discuss N-Watch activities

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) recently conducted a visit to the home of Penghulu of Mukim Gadong ‘B’ Major (Rtd) Haji Bakar bin Sapar, who is the Acting Village Head of Kampong Beribi and STKRJ Kampong Katok ‘B.’

The visit was led by Acting Head of the Public Relations Unit of the RBPF, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohd Amiruddin bin Haji Tunjang, who was accompanied by Sergeant 4395 Md Khiroul Azmi bin Shah, and Women Police 5724 Nursyazwalyanna binti Mohd Azmi.

Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Village Head Pengiran Haji Salleh bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman was also in attendance.

The visit presented the police and the local community the opportunity to strengthen relations, while at the same time, allowed for information sharing and updates on the ongoing Neighbourhood Watch activities.

Meanwhile, in Mukim Berakas ‘A’, a similar visit was conducted by officers from the Berakas Police Station.

Corporal 3854 Haji Tejuddin and Corporal 4022 Paul led the visit to meet with Kampong Pancha Delima Village Head and Mukim Berakas ‘A’ Acting Penghulu Pengiran Roslan bin Pengiran Tuah, and Kampong Delima Satu Village Head Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Ya’akub.

The visit was held to discuss the upcoming welfare activities that include a cleaning campaign at a Muslim cemetery, as well as Tahlil and Doa Arwah the Neighbourhood Watch members will hold in their respective mukims.

The RBPF supports the involvement of communities in ensuring the security of their village, as well as maintaining the peace and harmony of their surroundings, ensuring it remains free from crime.
