RBPF holds Khatam Al-Quran

A Khatam Al-Quran was yesterday held as part of the ceremonial programme prior to the passing out parade for recruit trainees of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse were the guests of honour. The event was held at the Officer’s Mess Banquet Hall of the Police Headquarters in Gadong.

A total of 141 Police Constable Men’s Squad 1/2021 trainees were involved in the Khatam Al-Quran.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour, along with the recitation of Khatam Al-Quran led by Recruit 6881 Mohammad Asmawi bin Haji Abu Bakar.

The event continued with the recitation of Takhtim led by Recruit 6895 Muhammad Izzan Nazmi bin Mahmood, before concluding with the Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat by Recruit 6945 Muhammad Fikri bin Haji Masri.

A bunga rampai ceremony by the guest of honour, invited guests and family members further enlivened the event.

The trainee recruit squad 1/2021 will conclude their training with a passing out parade at the Grand Parade Ground of the Police Training Centre (PTC) today.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, directors and deputy directors, heads of formations, officers-in-charge of police districts, senior officers and family members also attended the event organised by the PTC.
