RBPF holds ceremony for Haj pilgrims

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) through its Islamic Religious Body held a Doa Selamat for intending Haj pilgrims at the RBPF Headquarters Surau, Gadong on Saturday.

Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse Pengiran Datin Hajah Zauyah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman, in her capacity as the Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families (PEKERTI) President, attended the event.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sulaiman bin Alidin, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohamad Amirruddin bin Haji Tunjang in his capacity as the Islamic Religious Body Chairman, department directors, deputy directors, formation heads, officers-in-charge, senior officers, officers and personnel as well as RBPF civilian staff were also present.

Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan handed over contributions to the six intending Haj pilgrims.

The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by RBPF Headquarters Surau Imam APO Staff Sergeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar, followed by the handing over ceremony and concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat.
