RBLF team goes beyond call of duty

The Combat Engineer Squadron (CES) of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) was deployed to provide support to Kampong Pengiran Bendahara Lama, affected by a fire on January 8.

The pre-dawn fire destroyed several houses, affected a number of families and badly damaged the wooden walkway used by villagers and tourists.

The CES RBLF are repairing the walkway by replacing material to enhance its stability and safety. The two-week project commenced on February 28.

Carrying out Community Services is part of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) social responsibilities. It is also aligned with one of the roles of the RBLF, which is to conduct ‘Hearts and Minds’ Projects and charity work, and to foster and strengthen RBLF’s relationship with the local community.
