With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) senior officer was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General yesterday.
Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan presented the insignia to Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Colonel Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif during a ceremony at the Officers’ Mess at Bolkiah Garrison.
Deputy Minister of Defence Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir; acting permanent secretary, senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF, invited guests and family members were also present.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat led by Acting Director of RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim.
