RBAF Commander receives Singapore’s Army Chief

Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud received a courtesy call from Chief of Army of Singapore Armed Forces Major General Goh Si Hou.

Also present were the Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence.

The Commander of the RBAF expressed appreciation in the cooperation extended by the Singapore Armed Forces throughout the years, which included regular interactions through military exercises and courses.

Both sides agreed that the ongoing bilateral Exercise Maju Bersama 24/2020 is a credible platform towards nurturing trust, confidence building and interoperability between the countries and enhancing security through the exchange of expertise and bilateral dialogue.

The Commander of the RBAF also welcomed opportunities to enhance cooperation and strengthen relations between the Royal Brunei Land Force and the Singapore Army.

Major General Goh Si Hou is in Brunei Darussalam for the closing ceremony of the Exercise Maju Bersama 24/2020 which is a bilateral exercise participated by military personnel from the First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) and Third Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (3 SIR), Singapore Army. The closing ceremony was held yesterday.
