Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) in a statement on Thursday has announced the temporary suspension of its services to and from Beijing, effective October 27, 2024. The last flight to Beijing will be on October 26, 2024. Passengers who have bookings before this date will not be affected.
Currently, RB operates flights to Beijing Daxing International Airport twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.
“RB will continue to monitor market conditions and aims to resume its services to Beijing in the future, once the current market conditions have improved. We sincerely apologise to the affected guests and are committed to assisting them with their travel plans to Beijing,” said RB Chief Executive Officer Captain Sabirin Haji Abdul Hamid.
RB extended its gratitude to government stakeholders in both China and Brunei, and to its General Sales Agent in China, Beijing Longway International Travel Service Co Ltd, for their cooperation and support since the route’s launch in October 2019.
