Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the national airline of Brunei Darussalam and Japan Airlines (JAL) yesterday announced a codeshare agreement that will allow JAL to offer four weekly flights between Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) and Tokyo Narita.
RB will place its code on flights to major cities in Japan, such as Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
RB Chief Executive Officer Karam Chand said, “We launched our four-time weekly flights between BSB and Tokyo just last March and it is already one of our more popular routes. We are delighted to have JAL as our newest codeshare partner on this route and supplementing our network with more cities in Japan offering more travel options for RB guests.
“We welcome JAL guests on board our flights which will be operated using one of our game-changing A320neo aircraft. Both RB and JAL guests can look forward to the modern cabin features of the aircraft, our award-winning RB service known for our Bruneian hospitality and unmatched level of in-flight entertainment (IFE) with more than 1,000 entertainment content to enjoy on demand at every seat.”
