RB in-flight experience at RB SkyLounge

Patrons and RB frequent flyers can enjoy [email protected] by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) at the Brunei International Airport for a culinary experience specially curated by Savy’s and topped with award-winning services by the national carrier’s cabin crew.

If you miss travelling or just want to take some time off with your family and friends this December, the experience is not to be missed, right from checking in through the RB Premier Check-in Counter at the Brunei International Airport, access to premium and duty-free shops at the Departure Hall, to the experience of being served by this year’s World’s Leading Cabin Crew.

The three-course dinner, typically served to RB’s Business Class passengers is served at the exclusive RB Sky Lounge in the Departure Hall that offers plush seating areas and luxurious settings and ambience, with a host of services such as a flow of hot and cold beverages, a mini cinema, a games arcade and a kids’ zone.

Guests are greeted at the entrance of the lounge by friendly RB cabin crew members and RB’s signature drink exclusively served on-board Business Class, while waiting for their meal.

Frequent RB flyers will be delighted to learn that peanuts typically served in-flight are also be served at the lounge area. For dinner, guests are served a delicious starter of roasted cauliflower with pickled grapes to tantalise the buds before the main course, which is a selection of either tenderloin steak with au jus and shallot sauce; pan roasted salmon with lemon butter and capers juice or spiced breadcrumb crusted chicken schnitzel with brown butter capers.

All main courses come with sides of pave potato, leek, young carrots, broccolini and pea puree.

There is also a vegetarian option which is sauteed mixed mushrooms with olive oil and fresh herbs. After a fulfilling main course, guests are served with vanilla crème brulee with fresh fruits as dessert.

For those who miss the experience of duty-free shopping or just shopping in an airport, shops at the Departure Hall are open throughout the evening. Exclusive RB merchandise will also be available for purchase. Access to restricted areas of the airport are made available from 7pm to 10.30pm.

The last order at the RB SkyLounge is at 8.30pm. Guests are required to provide details such as the full name, valid choice of ID number either passport, Brunei identification card or driver’s licence and their choice of main course.

Customers are also required to make an advance payment.
