A two-day exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in conjunction with the celebration of Mental Health Day 2022, will run until today at the Atrium of The Mall, Gadong.
The event which began yesterday, is organised in line with the theme, ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’. The exhibition is aimed at encouraging the public to prioritise mental health and well-being.
The ministry said it can be achieved by participating in meaningful activities such as spending time with family, exercising and getting sufficient rest. Additionally, reciting zikir and meditating regularly are also useful, it said.
The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Mental Health Strategy Unit at the Health Promotion Centre, the Department of Psychiatric Services, and the Community Psychology Division and Clinical Psychology, as well as Talian Harapan with support from the Counselling and Religious Understandings Unit (KAFA) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and non-governmental organisations related to empowering health and mental well-being, such as Cope For Hope, Demensia Brunei, Empowerior, the Brunei Youth Council, the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society and The Collective.
