Silat practitioners attended a roadshow organised by the Brunei Darussalam Pencak Silat Federation (PERSIB) at the multipurpose hall of the Mumong Sports Complex in Belait District on Sunday.

The event was aimed at encouraging youth in the district to take up the martial art.

PERSIB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pengiran Haji Abdul Karim bin Pengiran Haji Metassan presented information on the key changes in the new rulings that have been in place since March 2020, showcasing it through a physical demonstration and mock matches.

Silat instructors also provided first-hand guidance and lessons to young silat practitioners.

PERSIB will conduct a workshop at the Kampong Rataie Community Hall in Temburong District on February 26.
