The development of the COVID-19 situation in the Sultanate is the determining factor of whether there will be convocation ceremonies, Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman said during a press conference yesterday.
On the possibility of taking the convocation online, the minister said the ceremonies would likely be postponed or conducted through other means depending on the COVID-19 situation.
Further developments on the matter will be announced to the public through the Ministry of Education’s official platform.
