Thirty-five alumni of Perdana Wazir English School (PWES), which has since been renamed Perdana Wazir Secondary School (SMPW), recently joined a reunion at the school premises.
Coincided with SMPW’s 50th anniversary, the classes of 1972 and 1972 toured the classrooms and caught up with their former schoolmates.
SMPW Principal Hajah Rahmah binti Pengiran Haji Abas was on hand to brief the group on the new facilities that have been installed since their graduation.
Alumnus Hajah Norsiah binti Haji Johari said the reunion allowed former friends and classmates to walk down memory lane as they explored the hall that was once a big part of their lives.
She also saw it as an opportunity to rekindle lost friendships, adding that she was surprised by the flood of old memories by the sight of the school ground, which prompted the group to plan another meet-up in the near future.
