Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) grabbed first place while Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) was placed second and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) second runner-up in a Gulintangan Competition hosted by UBD at the Pro-Chancellor Arts Centre, UBD yesterday.
The competition also saw participation from Politeknik Brunei (PB).
The contestants performed two songs each and were judged by a panel from Arts and Culture Division, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle was the guest of honour.
The competition began with a speech by UBD Students Association (PMUBD) President Nur Qamelya binti Mohd Rafee followed by performances from the competitors.
