The Big Red Warrior, a long obstacle course, was launched at Jerudong Park Playground yesterday.

The new attraction allows customers to push their physical limits, Ninja-Warrior style.

Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin as Chairman of Jerudong Park Country Club Sdn Bhd (JPCC) Board of Directors was the guest of honour.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Kesyukuran followed by a safety briefing.

The park’s Acting General Manager Hajah Siti Norzalena binti Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Raja Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman in her welcoming speech said the new attraction will be a test of an individual’s stamina and perseverance as its 200-metre run has 25 different obstacles to overcome.

She added that JPCC will continue to enhance and provide unique, viable and cost-effective products for clients.

“JPCC will strive to serve the nation and be where the fun never ends,” said Hajah Siti Norzalena.

The event continued with a ribbon cutting ceremony to launch the Big Red Warrior by the guest of honour.

The minister and guests then watched a warm-up session, led by Dj Nadzri, and a demonstration of the obstacle course by JPCC employees.

The Big Red Warrior was later opened to guests and is available for bookings for government agencies, companies, schools or private events.
