Public tip-off leads to recovery of stolen cars

Three cars reportedly stolen from Premier Motors Sdn Bhd in Beribi Light Industrial Area during the wee hours of Saturday morning were found after a public tip-off, according to the auto dealership.

Pictures and details of the stolen cars went viral following the incident. The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) confirmed the incident and said the case is still under investigation.

The auto dealership said the incident happened right after the nightly movement restriction ended at 4am, where several individuals allegedly broke into the dealership’s workshop area and took the keys of the vehicles and made away with some petty cash, before speeding away with the cars.
