Thirty-five orphans received donations from the Brunei Four Wheel Drive Association (PKTLB) and the Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) during a ceremony at Kampong Parit yesterday.
LLCS Chairman Yeo Tiong Lok was the guest of honour. President of PKTLB Abidin bin Haji Musa and grassroots leaders were also in attendance.
The event was part of annual Ramadhan activities for PKTLB held in the four districts. This year, the group aims to hand over donations to more than 400 underprivileged households, orphans and individuals with disabilities.
The association is collaborating with a number of other organisations to meet its goals.
Donations that have been handed over included daily necessities and financial aid. – James Kon
