A group of students of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) organised a leisure programme for 30 students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School in an effort to promote the competitive spirit of health.
The programme, dubbed ‘fitness test’ was held at the multi-purpose hall of the school recently, attended by lecturer at Core Knowledge Centre at KUPU SB Mohammad Amirol bin Abdul Rahim. Co-chairman of the programme Ahmad Zul Eizzy bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd led the warm-up exercise.
The fitness test featured five light physical activities: a 100-metre run, push-ups, sit-ups, planks and jumping jacks.
Points were awarded to students based on their achievements in each activity.
In an interview, co-chairperson of the programme Nurul Aqilah binti Zakaria expressed her excitement over a programme as it encourages students to lead a healthy lifestyle.
