Progresif Sdn Bhd unveiled a customised sales vehicle at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), Jalan Menteri Besar yesterday.
Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof officiated the launch.
Progresif Board Director Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adanan, GHK Motors Managing Director Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin, Permanent Secretary at MTIC Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Cybersecurity, Strategy and Corporate) at the MTIC Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim were also present, along with senior officials from MTIC, Progresif and GHK Motors Sdn Bhd management team.
The Progresif sales vehicle will be used as a mobile store by the street team as part of Progresif’s ongoing retail transformation plan. The full scope of the company’s progress and the new offerings were on display to the guests during a tour of the Progresif booth at the MTIC premises.
The mobile store is the next step in Progresif’s efforts to transform the way that the company interfaces with customers and vice versa, stemming from the media and infocommunications company’s longstanding promise to be a brand “that always drives progress”.
Progresif Chief Executive Officer Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Mohd Haji Jaafar, in her speech, said that “true 21st Century retail means making your products and services more accessible to the communities you serve, in their actual communities. Guests were given a brief tour of the sales vehicle and its features, which consists of all the items needed to build a pop-up shop anywhere that a road can reach.
From a generator to screens, awnings, chairs, stools, tables, a branded canopy and more, Progresif is set to have a presence in all the corners of the country.
Fresh in the wake of Progresif’s recent Flagship Experience store at Times Square Shopping Centre and their recent launch of all new “faster speeds, bigger data, better prices” Home WiFi plans, the sales vehicle launch was right on track for a company that has shown 2021 to be a year of dynamism and proactivity.
