THE Employees Trust Fund (TAP) organised a two-day Lakastah Bersedia programme with the closing event held at D’Anggerek Serviced Apartment in Berakas yesterday.
The event saw the presentation of certificates to participants by Acting Managing Director of TAP Hajah Chairani binti Haji Sulaiman.
About 60 officers and staff of TAP and Ministry of Finance and Economy with their partners participated in the programme.
Similar events will be held at other ministries.
The programme is part of TAP’s initiative to raise awareness on the importance of retirement planning.
The main target is those who will retire in the next 10 to 15 years.
Briefings and activities were conducted by TAP Retirement Planning Services Unit which covered guidelines on how to plan for retirement and take action upon retiring.
Representatives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Health, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) and Financial Planning Association of Brunei Darussalam (FPAB) were also present where they shared topics such as financial planning, health and property management.
