Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan officiated the Brunei Peduli Palestin 3.0 Programme yesterday.
The programme was organised by the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat, the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) and the Department of Mosque Affairs under the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) as well as mosque youth nationwide.
Programme chairperson Ahmad Muzhafar bin Haji Marsidi called on the youth to take up the role of spreading awareness on the plight of Palestinians.
The event also saw a video presentation, performances and a bazaar by local entrepreneurs and waqaf Al-Quran, where 70 per cent of the proceeds will be chanelled to the Palestinians in Gaza humanitarian fund. – Lyna Mohamad
